Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Security Officer (PRN) to safeguard patients, staff and visitors on site at the New Albany, IN campus. The officer will patrol hospital premises, secure facilities, respond to security needs, and support ongoing performance improvement efforts.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, at least one year of security-related experience or IA HSS certification, a valid driver's license, and a provided BLS certification/training

Qualifications

• One year minimum experience in military, security, law enforcement, healthcare, customer service and/or IAHSS certification preferred
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training

Summary Job Description: Seeking Security Officer! PRN (work as needed), shifts and days vary Baptist Health Floyd Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. We are seeking a Security Officer who, under general supervision and according to established procedures, protects life and property of all persons on Baptist Health Floyd premises and patrols hospital buildings and ground to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism. Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings. Responds to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors. Participates in performance improvement activities.
