Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Part Time Screener in Jeffersonville, Indiana. You will screen visitors, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and communicate access concerns to site personnel while maintaining a welcoming, safe environment.

The role offers part-time hours with a 3:00 PM–12:30 AM shift pattern and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology manufacturing location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries according to access‑control requirements and established screening protocols.
• Verify identification, maintain visitor logs, issue credentials as directed, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
