Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and property entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipment documentation, and authorization for entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
