Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by screening visitors and personnel, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and personal property in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, and access credentials; maintain accurate visitor and screening-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, business spaces, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
