Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Response Patrol in Salisbury, NC to protect government facilities and other sites. You will conduct armed patrols, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service while following post orders.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license preferred.

• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public while following site procedures and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and parking locations; identify hazards and report policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally per post orders.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in line with site policies; report restricted areas and unauthorized access attempts.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports; communicate information to site representatives and emergency responders.

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a controlled environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and parking locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry and exit in accordance with site policies; maintain awareness of restricted areas and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, communicate relevant information to site representatives and/or emergency responders, and maintain required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
