Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Patrol Deterrence in Raleigh, NC. You will protect clients across government facilities, maintain a visible presence, and conduct armed patrols to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires an armed guard card and background check readiness, with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour. You’ll join a collaborative team and have access to our shift-claim platform to build a flexible schedule.

Qualificações

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct routine, random armed patrols to deter incidents and report hazards.
• Monitor restricted access points and verify credentials per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, escalating when needed.
• Prepare clear patrol and incident reports while maintaining confidentiality.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas; verify credentials as required; and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
