Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer/Patrol Driver in Lillington, NC to safeguard facilities and provide excellent customer service. You will conduct armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

A valid driver’s license, being 21+, high school diploma, background check, and drug screen are required. The position offers a flexible part‑time schedule with evening/night shifts and pay of $21.50 per hour.

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with facility personnel and emergency responders.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
