Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned municipal buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Maintain required reports and activity logs, document incidents accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
