As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Protection in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Tue: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Wed: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Thur: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or other individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with appropriate emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs related to patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
