Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in New Orleans, LA. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and additional pick-up shifts through our platform, designed for income stability and potential progression to full-time.

Pay rate is $16.00 per hour, with a schedule featuring Tue and Sun 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM. The position supports customer service, incident response, and site maintenance tasks at a designated site.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit flow.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation for site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in New Orleans, LA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within the store, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit flow in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.li>
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
