Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify credentials as required, and report access-control concerns, maintenance issues, and unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

As an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Thur 10:15 AM - 07:15 PM
• Fri 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
