Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Chandler, AZ. You will provide customer service to clients and personnel, monitor access control, and conduct routine patrols to deter incidents and ensure safety at a high-tech location.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials in accordance with site requirements, helping to support controlled entry to restricted areas.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, and security-related concerns, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.72 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
