As a Security Officer - Vehicle Check Driver in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and retail staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
