Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Hospital Response Patrol in Overland Park, KS. In this unarmed security role within a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and respond to security needs with care and integrity.

Position type is Full Time. Pay rate is $21.02 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Hospital vaccinations required.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Pay Rate: $21.02 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
