Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Winfield, KS. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, engage with patients, visitors, and staff, and deter security incidents while delivering excellent service.

Day-to-day duties include responding to incidents, maintaining visibility, and reporting findings to site leadership. Position is full-time with pay at $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Vaccination requirements for hospital settings.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; job eligibility subject to review.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances and parking areas.
• Observe and report unusual activity or policy violations to security leadership.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Winfield, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel, helping to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
