Allied Universal is hiring part-time security professionals to support hospital operations in Ventura, CA. You will provide customer service to patients, visitors and staff while enforcing site policies and safety procedures.

Typical duties include unarmed patrols of hospital areas, responding to emergencies, managing access control, and documenting incidents for leadership review. A high school diploma and security experience help ensure success in this role.

Qualifikationen

• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access, and providing directions or escorts as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and response activities to appropriate hospital personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
