Allied Universal in New York, NY seeks a Security Officer – Global Bank Headquarters for flexible, part-time hours at a major financial site. You will provide security services, enforce site policies, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The role offers fixed shifts with optional extra shifts, competitive pay of $21.52 per hour, and opportunities to move into full-time positions through our Earn More program. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and responding public-service personnel.

As a Security Officer - Global Bank Headquarters in New York, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
