Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex Corporate Building Patrol in New York, NY. This part-time position offers flexible hours with anchor shifts and optional extra shifts to increase earnings. The role focuses on customer service, safety procedures, and reporting for a commercial site.

Pay rate is $19.06 per hour. Schedule includes DayTime Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, with a six-month anchor commitment and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

As a Security Officer Flex Corporate Building Patrol in New York, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general property inquiries, and maintain professional interactions with the public.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
