Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer at its Corporate Bank Headquarters in New York, NY. The role focuses on client service, routine security checks, and responsive incident handling in a financial institution environment. Position Type: Part Time.

Pay Rate: $21.52 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime Wed 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM and Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law.
• Criminal histories may be considered with applicable laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
