• Complete required reports and communicate relevant security information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

How This Role Works

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor and contractor records in accordance with site procedures for a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate logs, and communicate relevant security‑related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security‑related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
