Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a friendly, professional security receptionist at our New Jersey site. You will greet employees and visitors, verify IDs, log deliveries, and support access-control procedures.

This full-time role pays $17.00 per hour, with a 5-day schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You’ll work in a team-focused environment that values safety, service, and reliability. Prior front-desk or security experience is helpful; a background check and drug screen are required.

• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution reception desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery logs.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, assist with directions and general inquiries, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive access-control practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
