Allied Universal is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer in Groveport, OH. You will provide customer service, conduct access screenings, and respond to emergencies to protect people and property.

• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering the facility per site policies.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect bags and items, documenting prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, notifying site contacts and responders as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering the technology, media, and telecommunications location in accordance with established site policies.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections of bags, packages, and personal items as directed, documenting and escalating prohibited or suspicious items.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, screening areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
