Allied Universal in Washington, DC is seeking a Security Officer for Spanish Dispatch Communications. This full-time role supports a financial institution by coordinating security-related calls, monitoring activity, and documenting incidents.

You will work evenings on a Thursday–Sunday schedule and earn $24.88 per hour. Requirements include fluent Spanish, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by following site-specific security procedures and emergency protocols.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch security-related calls, alarms, and service requests using established protocols.
• Monitor surveillance systems and document incidents and dispatch activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate with supervisors, responders, and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular patrols and report any security concerns or unusual activity.

Pay Rate: $24.88 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch security-related calls, alarms, and service requests to appropriate personnel using established communication protocols.
• Monitor communication systems, access points, and available surveillance equipment; document incidents, requests, and dispatch activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to supervisors, responders, and site stakeholders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting observed concerns and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
