Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Dispatch Communications Desk in Dulles, VA. You will dispatch security personnel, maintain logs, and perform site-specific procedures. The position offers flexible weekend shifts and a pay rate of $27.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing varies by state; drivers license for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor alarms, access-control notifications, and video systems; document and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel and responders.
• Dispatch security personnel and coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations calmly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting any unusual conditions.

Job Schedule:

• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor incoming communications, alarms, access-control notifications, and video systems; document and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel and responders.
• Dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
