As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications Coordinator in Westlake, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a financial institution location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and support access control operations. You will serve as a helpful point of contact for employees and visitors while helping to deter incidents through clear communication and timely response. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:15 PM - 06:15 AM
• Fri 02:15 PM - 10:15 PM
• Sat 02:15 PM - 10:15 PM
• Sun 10:15 PM - 06:15 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, access-control notifications, and other security-related communications, documenting activity and dispatching appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant details to site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift records while protecting confidential client and operational information.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
