Allied Universal in Millington, TN, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Documentation to safeguard client sites across logistics and distribution facilities. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor areas, and deliver professional customer service in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, alarms, and access concerns; patrolling facilities; verifying credentials; and preparing patrol and incident reports.

Qualifications

• At least six months of experience in a security-related role is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facilities, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of experience in a security-related role is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
