Job summary

Allied Universal in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Assessment Full Time to protect clients at Logistics & Distribution facilities. You will conduct unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver professional customer service while exemplifying Allied Universal's values of integrity and teamwork.

The role follows a five‑day schedule from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Duties include responding to incidents, monitoring access, and documenting observations for site leadership.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery driver sign-in procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
