Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform regular foot/vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity per entry procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related activities in required reports and logs.

Security Officer Patrol Field Operations in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, people-first culture. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to government facility personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site‑specific entry procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, unusual conditions, and security‑related activities in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
