Job summary

Allied Universal in Millington, TN is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to patrol and monitor a logistics and distribution site. You will deliver customer service, enforce site policies, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible, reassuring presence.

The role is full-time, pays $16.00 per hour, and follows the listed evening schedule, with shifts Tuesday through Friday 4:00 PM–12:00 AM. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen will be performed where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local rules.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the logistics and distribution location, including the building exterior, perimeter, loading docks, trailer areas, and access points.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity.
• Document incidents, patrol findings, and policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
