As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a driving unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with traffic flow, visitor directions, lost-and-found inquiries, and other customer service needs while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
