Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Route Auditor in NEW YORK, NY. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service at a technology-focused site.

Responsibilities include reporting incidents, maintaining logs, and coordinating with leadership. Eligible applicants must meet age, education, and background requirements; a drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualified applications with criminal histories will be considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security systems; report unusual conditions and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating information to leadership and site contacts.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.86 - $20.86 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
