• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Document incidents and daily observations and communicate information to site management and leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and tenants with outstanding customer service, and communicate observations professionally. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, business spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
