• Monitor access points and report incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns per procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with campus personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear activity, incident, and patrol reports with a professional presence.

Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist students, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service, and communicate observations professionally. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Tue: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, campus policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and other security-related incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic educational environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
