As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in CHICAGO, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate campus resources and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry into restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to supervisors and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
