Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Driver Incident Response in Chicago, IL. You will perform campus patrols, deter incidents, and respond to alarm events while providing courteous service to students, staff, and visitors.

This driving position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work a 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM shift, Monday through Sunday.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, grounds, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and support authorized entry procedures for campus facilities, events, and restricted areas.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and communications accurately in accordance with site-specific requirements.

As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Driver Incident Response in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a higher education location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do
