Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Document observations and incidents; communicate with supervisors and campus personnel.
• Assist with directions and reporting of maintenance or security issues to maintain a welcoming campus environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately; communicate relevant information to supervisors, campus personnel, and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Help maintain a welcoming campus environment by providing directions, assisting with access-related concerns, and reporting maintenance or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
