Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Driver Patrol in Chicago, IL. You will serve clients across campus environments, conduct patrols, and deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and emergencies calmly and according to procedures.
• Document observations and patrols; communicate information to supervisors and responders as appropriate.
• Help maintain a welcoming campus by giving directions and addressing access-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Driver Patrol in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately; communicate relevant information to supervisors, campus personnel, and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Help maintain a welcoming campus environment by providing directions, assisting with access-related concerns, and reporting maintenance or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
