Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Bilingual Dispatch in Washington, DC to safeguard clients in financial institutions and other sites. You will coordinate communications, monitor information, and support timely responses to security incidents.

The role requires fluent Spanish and professional communication with staff and visitors. The position includes night shifts with a focus on trusted service delivery, safety, and incident management.

Qualifications

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• State/city security license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors using site-specific security procedures.
• Receive, document, and dispatch security-related calls, alarms, and incidents.
• Monitor systems and maintain logs, dispatch records, and reports.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate with site leadership and responders.
• Conduct regular patrols and report security concerns and changing site conditions.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.88 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch security-related calls, alarms, service requests, and incident information to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor communication systems, alarm notifications, cameras, and other assigned systems; maintain accurate logs, dispatch records, and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating timely information to site leadership and appropriate responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting observed security-related concerns and maintaining awareness of changing site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
