Qualifications

• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

• Monitor dispatch communications, receive service requests, and coordinate deployment of security personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of incidents, requests, radio communications, and shift activities.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information as directed.
• Monitor access-related activity, alarms, and surveillance systems and report unusual conditions.

As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Driver in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatcher in a financial institution location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, dispatch resources, and support timely responses to incidents. You will help maintain a welcoming environment through professional customer service, clear communication, and accurate reporting. A valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive service requests, and coordinate the deployment of security-related personnel to support site operations.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of incidents, requests, radio communications, and shift activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Monitor access-related activity, alarms, and/or surveillance systems as assigned, and report unusual conditions according to site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
