Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time role involves coordinating security communications, monitoring systems, documenting incidents, and supporting response efforts at a financial institution location.

Daily shifts include 3:00 PM–11:30 PM with time for client service, incident escalation, and patrol activities designed to deter incidents and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, cameras, and other communications systems; document and relay information to appropriate personnel.
• Dispatch security-related personnel to incidents, service requests, and critical situations, maintaining clear communication and accurate activity logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution location and perimeter, as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

As a Dispatch Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and support response efforts. You will provide professional customer service while helping to deter incidents through clear communication and attention to detail. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
