Allied Universal in Stevenson, AL is seeking a Security Officer Entry Control Driver to join a manufacturing site team. The role combines customer service with security duties, access control, and active monitoring of premises.

Security Officer Entry Control Driver

Location: Stevenson, AL

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and site contacts while reporting security-related observations and concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
