Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver in Bay Minette, AL. In this role you will patrol, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service at a manufacturing/industrial site.

You will verify authorizations, respond to incidents, and maintain logs, contributing to a safe, compliant environment. The position is full-time with a daytime schedule, requiring a valid driver’s license and a background check.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required by policy.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, and perimeters.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor/employee authorization, and maintain logs.
• Observe and report hazards, unusual activity, or policy violations to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Driver in Bay Minette, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem- solving manner, following site-specific protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor, contractor, and employee authorization, and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
• Observe and report potential hazards, unusual activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
