Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driving Access Control in Friendly, WV. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor alarm panels, and respond to security concerns for a professional industrial site.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and a customer-first approach, with emphasis on safety, integrity, and teamwork. You’ll patrol the premises, support incident response, and deliver reliable service while upholding Allied Universal standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license or equivalent (as applicable).
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.

• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Security Officer Driving Access Control in Friendly, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a professional industrial location by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring alarm panels, and responding to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
