Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required by Allied Universal policy.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Criminal background in compliance with laws will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at the site.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointment information.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communications systems; report issues.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner following escalation procedures.
• Maintain a professional lobby environment and assist with visitor flow at a financial institution location.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Reception in Charlotte, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointment information, and maintain visitor access records in accordance with location procedures.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communications systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Support a professional lobby environment by providing directions, answering routine questions, and helping to control visitor flow at this financial institution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
