Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver in Riverside, CA. This role offers a fixed anchor shift with the option to pick up extra shifts, providing reliable hours and opportunities to grow toward a full‑time schedule.

Pay is $19.00 per hour with a day schedule (DayTimeSun02:00 PM − 10:00 PM). Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and meet minimal requirements; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• X‑Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying identification and authorization for employees, contractors, delivery drivers, and visitors entering restricted areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at access points; document required entry and exit information in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
