Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Fresno, CA to provide reliable, flexible scheduling and secure access control at a designated site. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while following site-specific procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities through clear and accurate reports.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and security‑related responsibilities at a logistics and distribution location.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.


• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.


• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities through clear and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Access control/badge experience is preferred.


• A guard card/license is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
