Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and delivery credentials, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with personnel entering and leaving the location while supporting orderly traffic flow and adherence to site access requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Riverside, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 05:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
