Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat12:00 PM - 08:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery drivers, and team members while carrying out site‑specific, security‑related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points, including employee entrances, visitor check‑in areas, gates, and loading dock locations; verify credentials and maintain accurate access records.
• Screen visitors, contractors, and commercial drivers according to site policies; communicate entry requirements and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or site policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience are required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
