Allied Universal in Riverside, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver to protect clients across logistics facilities. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering outstanding customer service.

You must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving at night shifts. This role requires adherence to site policies and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and integrity.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Age 21+ for armed roles; 18+ for unarmed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify credentials, registrations, and delivery documentation.
• Control access for personnel and vehicles, directing to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and facility perimeters; report security concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, visitor registrations, and delivery or pickup documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Control access for personnel and vehicles entering or leaving the facility, directing drivers and visitors to appropriate locations and maintaining required access records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
