Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Roving Patrol Driver in DAGGETT, CA. The role offers flexible, fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with a day-time schedule from 09:00 PM to 05:00 AM and a pathway to full-time roles through training and expanded site coverage. Ideal candidates have at least one year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and utility-related infrastructure, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Identify and report unusual activity, damaged property, equipment concerns, and potential hazards to the appropriate site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Roving Patrol Driver in DAGGETT , CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
